Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Oversee and sustain the engineering team's backlog in a prioritized and ready-to-execute manner

• Prioritize strategic features, customer escalations, technical debt, and bug resolutions

• Recognize and escalate technical, organizational, cross-team, and strategic obstacles

• Conduct daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives

• Transform validated solutions into user stories, acceptance criteria, and sequenced delivery plans in collaboration with Product Engineers

• Collaborate with Customer Success and Support to address escalations and define problem scopes

• Set expectations for delivery and provide consistent updates on completed and at-risk tasks

• Promote clarity, focus, and protection from churn within the engineering team

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, or Technical Program Manager in an agile B2B SaaS setting

• Comprehensive understanding of agile and scrum methodologies

• Capacity to prioritize competing strategic, customer, and technical demands

• Skill in identifying blockers and escalating them effectively

• Technical proficiency, including the ability to read API specifications and comprehend architecture and engineering trade-offs

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Detail-oriented with a structured approach

• Collaborative and low-ego team player mindset

• Required experience in SaaS platforms and API integration

• Strongly preferred experience in IT Asset Management, ITSM, or related enterprise IT fields
