Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Define and oversee the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.

• Manage and prioritize the product backlog effectively.

• Convert business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Collaborate with development teams, architects, and business stakeholders.

• Support Agile/Scrum methodologies and facilitate sprint planning.

• Supervise the development of payment solutions and merchant services.

• Review and approve delivered features.

• Identify avenues for enhancing product performance and customer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 6 years of relevant professional experience.

• Significant experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product delivery position.

• Expertise in the banking domain.

• Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

• Proven experience in managing and prioritizing product backlogs.

• Skilled in writing user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Proficient in gathering and analyzing business requirements.

• Experience in defining product roadmaps and setting priorities.

• Direct experience working with software development teams.

• Understanding of software development processes and enterprise applications.

• Proven ability to manage both business and technical stakeholders.

• Capability to prioritize based on business value, customer impact, and technical constraints.

• Experience in reviewing and accepting delivered functionality.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

• Proficient in English for international project collaboration.

• Familiarity with Visa, Mastercard, or card payment ecosystems.

• Knowledge of card transaction lifecycles.

• Understanding of payment processing integrations and APIs.

• Experience with high-volume transaction platforms.

• Knowledge of payment security and regulatory requirements.

• Familiarity with PSD2, PCI DSS, or Strong Customer Authentication.

• Experience with platform modernization projects.

• Proficient in Jira and Confluence.

• Experience working with distributed international engineering teams.

• Experience across multiple integrated enterprise systems.
