Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Lead the creation of a cohesive product strategy roadmap encompassing various exploratory workstreams.

• Take ownership of and manage the product backlog.

• Convert user research insights, stakeholder feedback, and strategic objectives into actionable user stories and epics.

• Work alongside user researchers, product strategists, and data strategists to validate assumptions and influence product direction.

• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative delivery cycles.

• Monitor and report on cross-functional team deliverables, pinpoint risks, and aid in mitigation planning.

• Convey product vision, progress updates, and insights to leadership, internal teams, and external stakeholders.

• Ensure consistent delivery of value through the application of Agile and SAFe methodologies.

• Interact with users to comprehend their needs and validate solutions through feedback and metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Over 5 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 4 years as a Product Owner or Senior Business Analyst.

• At least 2 years of experience in managing product backlogs and roadmaps within Agile settings.

• Must be able to obtain and retain a Public Trust Clearance.

• Must be a U.S. resident and have lived in the U.S. for 3 of the past 5 years.

• Experience in the healthcare sector or with CMS projects is preferred.

• More than 4 years of experience in leading early-stage product discovery or research-focused initiatives is preferred.

• Knowledge of human-centered design and design thinking methodologies is preferred.

• Experience in federal government contracting is preferred.

• Prior experience working remotely within a collaborative, distributed team is preferred.

• Salesforce development skills are preferred but not mandatory.
