Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Embrace Lean-Agile principles and values inspired by the Agile Manifesto, Lean Thinking, and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

• Engage in ongoing learning and root-cause analysis for problem-solving

• Collaborate with customers, strategize work, deliver value, collect feedback, and pursue continuous improvement

• Conduct both primary and secondary research to understand market trends and user preferences

• Implement market segmentation and recognize market patterns and events

• Grasp end-user requirements and involve customers throughout the product life cycle

• Utilize design thinking methodologies to advocate for the end user

• Contribute to the development of the product vision and roadmap

• Assist in prioritizing the ART Backlog and effectively communicate the vision and roadmap during PI Planning

• Oversee and prioritize the Team Backlog, incorporating input from product management, system architecture, and other stakeholders

• Lead story creation, prioritize backlog items, and approve stories

• Support the Architectural Runway and the delivery team

• Balance stakeholder viewpoints, elaborate on stories, and promote built-in quality and compliance

• Participate in team and ART activities

• Facilitate user acceptance testing and assist in business adoption of new operational methods

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a SaaS-based product development context or in the FDA-regulated medical device sector

• At least 5 years of experience as a product owner or relevant domain expertise in blood supply is preferred

• Familiarity with Design Thinking tools such as Empathy maps, Journey maps, Personas, Prototypes, Benefit Hypotheses, and others is advantageous

• Previous experience as a product owner in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) setting is preferred
