This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the Build & Deliver stages within the product development lifecycle.
• Convert agile PRDs into detailed features, stories, requirements, acceptance criteria, and reproduction steps.
• Break down initiatives into epics, features, and stories, creating comprehensive, buildable requirements.
• Maintain a complete set of accurately categorized Jira tickets linked to the appropriate epic, initiative, release, and quarter.
• Organize and prepare multiple sprints of ready work within a well-structured backlog.
• Independently decompose tasks, prioritize competing stories, make trade-offs, and triage bugs based on severity and urgency.
• Facilitate daily scrum ceremonies, including refinement, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
• Collaborate with global development teams during various ceremonies.
• Oversee daily dependencies among partner teams, such as data science.
• Coordinate the release execution using feature toggles and phased or hidden-release strategies.
• Produce release notes, user guides, and internal FAQs for Customer Success Managers, sales, and customer service teams.
• Ensure that analytics tagging is incorporated into every new development.
• Provide proactive status updates while identifying risks, dependencies, and blockers along with recommended next steps.
• Manage approved and validated work from decision-making through release, documentation, and deployment readiness.
• A minimum of 3 years in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar delivery-oriented role within an agile software environment.
• Proven ability to translate requirements into well-defined epics, features, and stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Expert proficiency in Jira, including field completeness, accurate mapping of epic/initiative/release/quarter, and maintaining backlog hygiene.
• Capability to independently break down tasks, prioritize work, make trade-offs under capacity constraints, and triage bugs by severity.
• A proven history of leading requirements-review meetings, including refinement, grooming, and stand-ups with development teams.
• Extensive knowledge of agile ceremonies, best practices, anti-patterns, and the Definitions of Ready and Done.
• Comfortable with coordinating dependencies across teams.
• Familiar with release mechanics, feature toggles, phased/hidden releases, and best practices in release management.
• Ability to write or quickly learn to draft release notes, user guides, and internal FAQs.
• Basic understanding of analytics tagging and product performance measurement.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities, follow-through, and integrity.
• Currently utilizing AI in work or genuinely eager to learn.
• A kind, collaborative, and respectful demeanor.
• Willingness to travel approximately 15% of the time.
• Experience specifically in building B2B SaaS is advantageous.
• Retail experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Experience in establishing or enhancing formal sprint-planning practices is a bonus.
• A sense of technical curiosity and a history of expanding one’s knowledge base.
• While deep technical skills are not required from day one, a willingness to deepen technical expertise is expected.
