Product Operations Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in product and program planning by tracking milestones, risks, decisions, dependencies, and action items.

• Contribute to regular operational reporting, portfolio dashboards, OKR updates, and materials for leadership.

• Examine product, program, and operational data to uncover trends, capacity issues, execution gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

• Aid in the setup and maintenance of projects across platforms like Workday, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Slack, Teams, and others.

• Keep Workday project information updated, including resource allocations, hours, end dates, stages, and related attributes.

• Review team allocations to identify potential resource conflicts or overallocation issues.

• Support the creation of product requirements, process maps, operating procedures, implementation plans, and project documentation.

• Document workflows related to product, platform, data, partners, and integrations.

• Assist in workflow automation and the responsible application of artificial intelligence for reporting, research, documentation, and enhancing team productivity.

• Perform structured market, partner, ecosystem, and competitive analysis.

• Create playbooks, training resources, and enablement materials.

• Participate in program governance activities, project reviews, and audits related to Product or Program Management.

• Organize project meetings, document decisions, and follow up on action items.

• Review status reports and presentations to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency.

• Provide limited project management support during planned absences and short-term team requirements.

• Assist with Product Operations initiatives, team events, and professional development programs.

• Complete and present a defined internship project that includes measurable recommendations or business outcomes.


⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master’s program in Product Management, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Marketing, Media, or a related field.

• Strong skills in analysis, organization, and problem solving.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Ability to organize complex information and transform it into clear documentation, insights, and actionable steps.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven capability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and provide clear updates on status.

• Experience in leading or contributing to project teams in academic, professional, or volunteer contexts.

• High attention to detail and demonstrated persistence in completing tasks.

• Proactive learner with intellectual curiosity and a strong willingness to take initiative.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

• Interest in product operations, product management, data, identity, artificial intelligence, advertising technology, or enterprise platforms.

• Familiarity with collaboration and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Trello, Slack, or Teams.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies and software or product development practices.

• Experience with data analysis, reporting, dashboards, or visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.

• Familiarity with artificial intelligence or automation tools aimed at enhancing research, analysis, documentation, or workflows.

• Exposure to advertising technology, marketing technology, data platforms, identity solutions, digital media, or enterprise software.

• Experience in developing presentations, process documentation, research summaries, or recommendations for academic or professional audiences.

• Demonstrated interest in enhancing team planning, collaboration, decision-making, and product delivery processes.

• Expected graduation date between May 2027 and December 2027.
