Product Operations Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Contribute to product and program planning by tracking milestones, risks, decisions, dependencies, and action items.

• Aid in the preparation of regular operational reporting, portfolio dashboards, OKR updates, and materials for leadership.

• Evaluate product, program, and operational data to discover trends, capacity issues, execution gaps, and opportunities for enhancement.

• Assist in the setup and upkeep of projects across platforms such as Workday, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Slack, Teams, and others.

• Keep Workday project information updated, including resource allocations, hours, end dates, stages, and related attributes.

• Review team allocations to identify potential resource conflicts or instances of overallocation.

• Support in documenting product requirements, process maps, operational procedures, implementation plans, and project documentation.

• Create documentation for product, platform, data, partner, and integration workflows.

• Promote workflow automation and the responsible use of artificial intelligence to enhance reporting, research, documentation, and team productivity.

• Conduct organized market, partner, ecosystem, and competitive research.

• Develop playbooks, training materials, and enablement resources for internal teams and stakeholders.

• Assist in program governance tasks, project reviews, and audits for Product or Program Management.

• Organize project meetings, document decisions made, and follow up on assigned actions.

• Assess status reports and presentations for thoroughness, accuracy, and consistency.

• Provide limited project management support during planned absences and short-term team requirements.

• Contribute to Product Operations initiatives, team events, and professional development programs.

• Complete and present a defined internship project that includes measurable recommendations or business outcomes.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, Commercial, Enablement, Compliance, and Program Management teams to convert strategy into coordinated execution.


⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Product Management, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Marketing, Media, or a related field.

• Expected graduation between May 2027 and December 2027.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Ability to organize intricate information and convert it into clear documentation, insights, and actionable next steps.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively with internal partners and provide clear status updates.

• Experience leading or contributing to project teams in educational, professional, or volunteer contexts.

• Keen attention to detail and a demonstrated commitment to completing assignments.

• A proactive approach to learning, intellectual curiosity, and a readiness to take initiative.

• Capability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Interest in product operations, product management, data, identity, artificial intelligence, advertising technology, or enterprise platforms.

• Familiarity with collaboration and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Trello, Slack, or Teams.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software or product development practices.

• Experience in data analysis, reporting, dashboards, or visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.

• Experience utilizing artificial intelligence or automation tools to enhance research, analysis, documentation, or workflows.

• Exposure to advertising technology, marketing technology, data platforms, identity solutions, digital media, or enterprise software.

• Experience in developing presentations, process documentation, research summaries, or recommendations for academic or professional audiences.

• Demonstrated enthusiasm for enhancing how teams plan, collaborate, make decisions, and deliver products.
