Product Operations Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in product and program planning by tracking milestones, risks, decisions, dependencies, and action items.

• Contribute to ongoing operational reporting, portfolio dashboards, OKR updates, and materials for leadership.

• Evaluate product, program, and operational data to uncover trends, capacity issues, execution gaps, and improvement opportunities.

• Aid in the setup and maintenance of projects across platforms such as Workday, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Slack, Teams, and others.

• Help manage Workday project data, which includes resource allocations, hours, end dates, stages, and relevant attributes.

• Assess team allocations and assist in identifying potential resource conflicts or overallocation.

• Support the creation of product requirements, process maps, operating procedures, implementation plans, and project documentation.

• Document workflows related to products, platforms, data, partners, and integrations.

• Facilitate workflow automation and leverage artificial intelligence to enhance reporting, research, documentation, and team efficiency.

• Perform structured research on markets, partners, ecosystems, and competitors to inform product and commercialization strategies.

• Create playbooks, training resources, and enablement materials for internal teams and stakeholders.

• Assist in program governance tasks, project reviews, and audits for Product or Program Management.

• Organize project meetings, document decisions, and follow up on assigned tasks.

• Review status reports and presentations for thoroughness, accuracy, and consistency.

• Provide limited project management support during planned absences and for short-term team needs.

• Contribute to Product Operations initiatives, team events, and professional development programs.

• Complete and present a defined internship project with measurable recommendations or business outcomes.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, Commercial, Enablement, Compliance, and Program Management teams to translate strategy into coordinated execution.


⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Product Management, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Marketing, Media, or a related field.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Capable of organizing complex information and translating it into clear documentation, insights, and actionable next steps.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven ability to collaborate with internal partners and provide concise status updates.

• Experience in leading or participating in project teams within educational, professional, or volunteer environments.

• Keen attention to detail and demonstrated persistence in completing tasks.

• Proactive learner with intellectual curiosity and a readiness to take initiative.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Interest in product operations, product management, data, identity, artificial intelligence, advertising technology, or enterprise platforms.

• Candidates should anticipate graduating between May 2027 and December 2027.

• Familiarity with collaboration and project management tools, including Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Trello, Slack, or Teams.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies and software or product development practices.

• Experience in data analysis, reporting, dashboards, or visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.

• Experience utilizing artificial intelligence or automation tools to enhance research, analysis, documentation, or workflows.

• Exposure to advertising technology, marketing technology, data platforms, identity solutions, digital media, or enterprise software.

• Experience in developing presentations, process documentation, research summaries, or recommendations for academic or professional audiences.

• A demonstrated interest in enhancing team planning, collaboration, decision-making, and product delivery processes.
