This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Propel the expansion and market achievement of low-voltage switchboards in the U.S.
• Formulate and implement the U.S. product marketing and growth strategy for low-voltage switchboards.
• Integrate global strategy, business goals, customer requirements, and market possibilities to enhance order growth, market share, and customer satisfaction.
• Act as the commercial liaison among customers and cross-functional teams.
• Convert customer feedback and field insights into prioritized product specifications, roadmaps, and initiatives.
• Oversee annual marketing, business planning, and go-to-market execution for new products, upgrades, and lifecycle modifications.
• Create positioning, messaging, launch readiness, communications, training, documentation, digital tools, and performance enhancement plans.
• Provide Sales teams with product and application knowledge, technical and commercial training, tools, materials, guidance, and continual support.
• Report directly to the Product Marketing Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience in electrical products, product management, product marketing, engineering, or sales.
• Familiarity with the U.S. construction and industrial electrical market, including switchboards, engineered power-distribution solutions, electrical distributors, contractors, consultants, and end users.
• Capability to convey intricate technical features into clear customer value propositions, commercial messaging, training, and sales tools.
• Robust analytical and business-case development skills.
• Proficient in utilizing market, financial, operational, and customer data to suggest priorities and actions.
• Proven ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Sales, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, pricing, communications, and digital-tool teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Candidates must possess work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the U.S.
• Preferred experience with SAP, Salesforce, Power BI, product configurators, and product lifecycle or roadmap-management tools.
