This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Spearhead go-to-market strategies for new products and significant releases, ensuring alignment among Product, Sales, Partnerships, and Customer Success regarding timing, preparedness, and success metrics.
• Take ownership of positioning and messaging throughout the product lineup, guaranteeing consistency across campaigns, sales collateral, and customer communications.
• Collaborate with Product and Finance teams on pricing and packaging strategies.
• Define supporting evidence and customer narratives to enhance product positioning alongside Research and Curriculum.
• Develop and manage the sales enablement program, which includes playbooks, battlecards, launch training, and an enablement calendar.
• Work closely with Sales and field teams to comprehend buyer needs and refine product positioning.
• Assess the adoption and effectiveness of enablement resources, making adjustments based on feedback and performance metrics.
• Lead competitive intelligence initiatives and win/loss analysis practices.
• Maintain a voice-of-customer initiative with Customer Success.
• Utilize AI-assisted research and analysis to gather market and competitive insights.
• Mentor and develop the Product Marketing Manager.
• Collaborate with Content, Marketing Operations, Design, and various cross-functional teams.
• Evaluate the impact of product launches and marketing initiatives on pipeline, adoption, retention, and expansion.
• Continuously enhance go-to-market strategies using performance data, customer insights, and feedback from the field.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 8 years of product marketing experience, including a minimum of 3 years leading product launches or go-to-market initiatives.
• Proven experience leading at least one major product launch from start to finish, covering positioning, sales readiness, and post-launch assessment.
• Demonstrated experience in building a sales enablement program that achieved significant adoption, with a clear method for measuring its effectiveness.
• Background in shaping pricing and packaging strategies.
• Exceptional skills in positioning, messaging, and writing tailored for both buyers and sales teams.
• Experience managing and mentoring at least one product marketer.
• Direct experience working with Sales and field teams, including participating in customer calls and conducting training sessions.
• Practical experience utilizing AI tools for research, competitive analysis, or content creation, with a strong sense of judgment regarding accuracy and appropriate application.
• B2B experience involving lengthy, multi-stakeholder purchasing processes.
• Familiarity with K–12 education or EdTech, especially in selling to school districts.
• Knowledge of the Science of Reading or literacy instruction.
• Experience leading win/loss analysis or voice-of-customer initiatives.
• Proven record of developing customer marketing strategies that enhance retention and expansion efforts.
• Experience collaborating with research or efficacy teams on evidence-based product claims.
• Capacity to work at a computer for extended periods, utilize standard input devices, and engage in virtual meetings.
