This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Co-manage the positioning and messaging for Lightspeed Golf, encompassing value propositions for both operators and golfers.
• Spearhead go-to-market strategies and their execution for launches, feature upgrades, migrations, and significant announcements.
• Develop launch strategies that integrate product direction with campaigns, sales training, customer communications, and post-launch engagement.
• Collaborate with the Product team to pinpoint customer challenges, enhance the golf operator experience, and guide product priorities.
• Create programs for customer adoption, activation, cross-selling, and expansion.
• Promote payment integration and the adoption of revenue-generating products and services.
• Establish feedback mechanisms with Sales, Support, Customer Success, and Partnerships.
• Perform market, customer, and competitive analysis.
• Develop and sustain insights into Golf Ideal Customer Profile, personas, segmentation, and customer journey.
• Track competitors and convert insights into positioning, sales direction, and strategic recommendations.
• Design pitch presentations, battlecards, one-pagers, demo resources, launch kits, training, and additional sales materials.
• Collaborate on initiatives and content that foster awareness, demand, education, and advocacy.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in products and the industry.
• Assess and convey the impact of launches and programs across adoption, pipeline, conversion, attach rate, MRR, retention, and customer lifetime value.
• Establish and refine repeatable product marketing processes for the Golf sector.
• 2–4 years of experience in product marketing, growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, or a similar go-to-market position, preferably in B2B or B2B2C SaaS.
• Proven experience in developing positioning, messaging, launch strategies, sales enablement, and customer marketing initiatives.
• Strong project management capabilities and the autonomy to lead projects from strategy to execution.
• Ability to distill qualitative and quantitative data into actionable recommendations.
• Experience collaborating across functions with teams in Product, Sales, Marketing, Support, Customer Success, or Partnerships.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Capacity to translate technical features into clear customer advantages.
• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity, prioritizing conflicting requests, and creating structure in evolving processes.
• Proactive, analytical, and collaborative work style.
• A keen interest in customer needs and a growth-oriented mindset.
• Background in golf, sports, hospitality, retail, fintech, or B2B SaaS is beneficial.
• Familiarity with golf course operator business operations is a plus.
• Experience marketing products to both business operators and end consumers is advantageous.
• Background in product adoption, customer marketing, expansion, or retention programs is a benefit.
• Enthusiasm or passion for golf, sports, or technology is advantageous.
• Experience with account-based marketing, trade shows, industry associations, or partner marketing is a plus.
• An MBA or Product Marketing Alliance certification is an advantage.
