This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +13 more states.
β’ Develop a comprehensive understanding of target audiences, focusing on their needs, motivations, perceptions, and areas of confusion.
β’ Leverage audience insights to inform product and marketing strategies.
β’ Establish and evaluate distinct positioning, value propositions, naming, and messaging.
β’ Create clear and persuasive customer-facing copy for product launches and ongoing communications.
β’ Oversee go-to-market and lifecycle strategies that promote discovery, activation, and sustained engagement.
β’ Integrate audience and market insights into product development from initial strategy through to launch and iterations.
β’ Set success metrics and design experiments to test hypotheses.
β’ Analyze adoption, engagement, conversion, and revenue metrics to assess impact and refine strategies.
β’ Collaborate closely with teams in Product, Lifecycle, Growth, Research, and other business areas.
β’ Report directly to the Director of Product Marketing.
β’ Contribute to the launch of consumer products and features that assist SNAP recipients in accessing savings on essential items and healthcare services, including Medicare navigation tools.
β’ 5+ years of experience in product marketing or a closely related field, preferably within a consumer technology setting.
β’ Outstanding writing abilities with a knack for translating complex products into clear, engaging, and trustworthy content.
β’ Proven history of developing positioning and messaging, along with leading go-to-market strategies for new or evolving products.
β’ Practical experience in crafting lifecycle communications that support onboarding, engagement, retention, or reactivation efforts.
β’ Strong focus on audience needs and effective utilization of both qualitative and quantitative insights.
β’ Demonstrated success in setting measurable objectives, designing experiments, and analyzing adoption, engagement, conversion, and revenue data to assess effectiveness.
β’ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, providing structure amidst ambiguity, adapting to shifting priorities, and fostering collaboration across teams.
β’ Experience marketing products in benefits, healthcare, Medicare, financial technology, or other complex or heavily regulated consumer sectors is particularly beneficial.
β’ Candidates must reside in one of the states where Propel has a registered entity: California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, or Washington.
β’ Authorization to work in the United States for any employer.
