This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
β’ Lead the go-to-market strategy for CHEQ's Identity Security solution.
β’ Define the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), key personas, and the buying committee encompassing CISOs and security leadership, as well as Application Security, Fraud and Risk, and Trust & Safety teams.
β’ Transform product vision and research into a coherent market narrative and category story.
β’ Oversee positioning, messaging, and value propositions.
β’ Conduct message testing with initial customers and design partners.
β’ Collaborate with Product and Sales leadership to shape pricing, packaging, and the go-to-market playbook.
β’ Engage in roadmap reviews and regular syncs with Product and Research teams.
β’ Co-manage launch readiness alongside the Chief Product Officer (CPO).
β’ Incorporate customer, market, and competitive insights into product decision-making.
β’ Develop sales and marketing materials, including solution briefs, presentations, battle cards, customer case studies, and demo narratives.
β’ Provide training for Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success teams on discovery processes, objection handling, and competitive insights.
β’ Collaborate with Demand Generation on audience insights, messaging strategies, and promotional offers.
β’ Create joint value propositions, integration narratives, and partner enablement and co-marketing content.
β’ Construct positioning, narrative, and sales toolkit; launch Identity Security in the market and assist in acquiring the first customers.
β’ Report directly to the Head of Marketing while partnering with the CPO, Product, Research, Sales, Demand Generation, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and other business partners.
β’ Must be based in the United States.
β’ A minimum of 8 years of B2B product marketing experience, including responsibility for positioning, product launches, content creation, and sales enablement.
β’ Experience in building product marketing for a new product, category, or company from its inception.
β’ Proven track record in marketing to security, identity & access management, and fraud & risk buyers, including CISOs, Application Security, Fraud & Risk, CIAM, and Trust & Safety teams.
β’ Demonstrated experience collaborating closely with Sales teams targeting these buyers, with a solid understanding of their evaluation and purchasing processes.
β’ Ability to comprehend technical products, APIs, and integrations and articulate their value to both technical and business audiences.
β’ Comfortable navigating ambiguity and exercising judgment to prioritize tasks when little structure is present.
β’ Excellent English writing and presentation skills, with the capability and willingness to independently create substantial content.
β’ Strong research, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
β’ Experience in marketing solutions that safeguard customer accounts, manage authentication and access, detect bots, or prevent online fraud and abuse.
β’ Experience working with technology and business partners on joint messaging, campaigns, and sales enablement initiatives.
β’ Awareness of how AI agents are transforming the identification of users, risk assessment, and decision-making regarding permissible activities.
β’ A variable component may be included in the overall compensation package.
