This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Comprehend the needs of customers and associates to facilitate the delivery of enterprise products that enhance the shopping experience.
• Convert business objectives and end-user requirements into product strategy while effectively communicating product direction and priorities.
• Establish goals, metrics, and analytics to assess product value and refine the product backlog.
• Conduct research with end-users to identify user stories and determine the Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
• Collaborate with Finance on financial requirements and business plans for new opportunities.
• Keep abreast of research, competitive landscapes, industry innovations, and technology platforms to recommend optimal solutions.
• Align products with the priorities of the company, stakeholders, and end-users to boost sales, enhance efficiency, and elevate customer satisfaction.
• Ensure adherence to quality and change-control standards.
• Develop, test, and refine assumptions and hypotheses through user research and testing.
• Create, prioritize, and accept user stories, integrating them into release planning.
• Make daily product decisions that create value.
• Identify pros, cons, issues, obstacles, dependencies, and value related to features and enhancements.
• Engage in standups, iteration planning, product demonstrations, and retrospectives.
• Simplify complex technical concepts into non-technical language for stakeholders.
• Promote collaboration with Engineering, User Experience Designers, and other team members.
• Champion the interests of end users and stakeholders while serving as the domain expert.
• Evaluate progress, share lessons learned, and clarify next steps with the product team.
• Manage expectations of cross-functional teams and stakeholders to execute product strategy effectively.
• Lead sessions and convey product strategy across all organizational levels.
• Typically report to the Product Management Manager or Senior Manager.
• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum educational requirement: high school diploma and/or GED.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Experience as a Product Manager in a modern, software development-based enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with contemporary software development product management practices and agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of extreme programming (XP) principles, including paired programming, test-driven development, and continuous deployment.
• Experience thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities frequently change.
• Proven ability to communicate with and influence both functional and technical team members at all organizational levels.
• Experience as part of a collaborative, cross-functional software design and development team.
• Proficient in creating, prioritizing, and accepting user stories.
• Skilled in conducting user research and testing.
• Experience identifying goals, metrics, and analytics to evaluate product value.
• Background in conducting competitive research and analysis.
• No certifications are required.
• Overnight travel is typically less than 10% of the time.
• Comfortable indoor working conditions.
• Frequent opportunities for movement while working.
• Rarely required to move or lift light items.
