This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Convert institutional and user requirements into technically sound product specifications, use cases, workflows, and design documents.
• Synchronize data and product needs, integration methods, and database architecture with technical teams.
• Take ownership of the AEM design system, component library, delivery standards, and governance across both uniform and customized work.
• Ensure that production work adheres to established patterns or has well-documented, intentional exceptions.
• Create, sustain, and enhance AEM governance documentation and component usage guidelines.
• Conduct audits of web properties to ensure adherence to the design system and identify areas for remediation or system evolution.
• Convey AEM capabilities, limitations, constraints, opportunities, trade-offs, and roadmap priorities to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Oversee approvals for design and technical user stories while managing stakeholder expectations, deadlines, and budget considerations.
• Integrate regulatory, accessibility, privacy, ADA/WCAG, and institutional requirements into workflows prior to production.
• Collaborate with legal, privacy, and compliance teams to incorporate accessibility and compliance testing throughout the product lifecycle.
• Manage the comprehensive delivery of website features and enhancements using agile development practices, including standups, retrospectives, and planning sessions.
• Work with programming and QA teams by answering development queries, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and distributing velocity reports.
• Suggest communication strategies for completed features and develop AEM experiences alongside designers and digital team members.
• Define KPIs, create dashboards and reports, analyze site analytics and user feedback, and recommend optimization strategies.
• Plan A/B and multivariate testing, and collaborate on SEO, search, AI, and healthcare information discoverability enhancements.
• A BA/BS degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Digital Media, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of six years of progressive experience in product management or related web/digital platform roles, including end-to-end feature enhancement delivery, is required.
• At least three years of practical experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), covering component architecture and design-system governance, is required.
• Experience in healthcare, regulated industries, or environments with stringent compliance and accessibility requirements is essential.
• Proven experience in managing or overseeing a design system or component library across various teams or stakeholders is required.
• Excellent technical communication and presentation skills are necessary.
• Capability to gather business and user requirements and document thorough, platform-viable specifications is required.
• In-depth knowledge of design systems, component-based architecture, governance frameworks, and Adobe AEM is essential.
• Familiarity with web application and content management system architectures, including AEM templates, components, workflows, and permissions models is needed.
• Experience in designing simple, intuitive user interfaces and scalable digital experiences is required.
• Knowledge of compliance, data privacy, ADA/WCAG/Section 508 accessibility standards is important.
• Ability to build consensus and collaborate across departments without direct authority is necessary.
• Skills to identify dependencies, minimize project risks, and maintain system integrity are required.
• Capability to work independently, manage pressure, and meet deadlines is essential.
• Advanced knowledge of HTML and CSS, along with an understanding of front-end development principles, is required.
• Proficiency in traditional and agile product development and project management methodologies, such as SCRUM, is essential.
• Experience with analytics tools for both marketing and non-marketing stakeholders is required.
• Understanding of SEO and experience using tools like BrightEdge is preferred.
• Experience in establishing, documenting, and enforcing governance exception processes across distributed teams is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of customer journey mapping and user-centric design principles is necessary.
• Preferred: Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud, including Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Adobe Launch.
• Preferred: Familiarity with healthcare digital ecosystems, Epic/MyChart integrations, and patient-facing digital experiences.
• Preferred: Experience with AI-driven personalization and emerging web technologies.
• Preferred: Governance documentation experience for large-scale web platforms.
