This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• The Product Manager is responsible for formulating the strategy and enhancing the commercial performance of a range of software and equipment products, collaborating with Product Owners to ensure successful execution.
• This position owns the product's Profit and Loss (P&L), drives growth initiatives, and aligns the product trajectory with business objectives and market possibilities.
• Utilizing customer and market insights, the Product Manager develops value-oriented solutions, supports the execution of go-to-market strategies, and collaborates across functions to achieve substantial results.
• Spearhead the 3P-STP-5P marketing strategy (Customer, Competitor, Company; Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning; Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People) for each product category.
• Manage product-level P&L, focusing on revenue growth, profitability, and market share advancement.
• Track product performance metrics and modify strategies to optimize value and return on investment.
• Conduct comprehensive market analysis, including CM/LBM trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies (e.g., automation, CAD/CAM, cloud solutions).
• Formulate and support go-to-market strategies for new products and significant releases.
• Equip sales teams through training on product positioning, competitive advantages, and addressing objections.
• Engage in pivotal customer meetings, sales cycles, and industry events to foster growth and obtain insights.
• Articulate the product vision, strategy, and performance to executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment among Product Owners, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Support, and Operations.
• Convert business strategy into clear directives for Product Owners and delivery teams.
• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is advantageous.
• Over 6 years of experience as a Product Owner working alongside a development team.
• Proven experience in product management with responsibility for product strategy and roadmaps.
• Knowledge of Customer-Back Innovation (CBI) or similar stage-gate methodologies.
• Certification as a Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) is preferred.
• Experience in software product strategy and management with a track record of delivering value.
• Background in complex customer environments and/or relevant industry experience.
• Experience leading software product development in an Agile setting using frameworks such as Scrum and SAFe.
• Excellent team/project management, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Capability to be flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
