This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead a strategic initiative aimed at automating the design processes for power substations.
• Establish and implement agile automation solutions tailored for power substations.
• Collaborate with internal experts, consultants, operational teams, and technology partners.
• Create and execute a roadmap for modular automation initiatives utilizing design authoring and support software.
• Define the product vision, strategy, and a roadmap spanning 6 to 12 months.
• Convert business requirements and customer insights into product specifications.
• Identify MVP, prototype, and pilot requirements while validating concepts.
• Develop, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, including features, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Assist delivery teams by clarifying requirements and making prioritization choices.
• Review and approve completed user stories.
• Coordinate and communicate product releases effectively.
• Maintain documentation for product requirements, customer journey maps, voice-of-customer analyses, analytics, and business impact dashboards.
• Advocate for technology adoption and process enhancements.
• Drive adoption through change management, communication, and enablement initiatives.
• Monitor ROI, adoption metrics, KPIs, and overall business impact.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and market indicators.
• Manage stakeholder expectations while communicating the product vision and roadmap.
• Conduct research involving users and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and address issues.
• Develop product messaging and support demos and presentations.
• Communicate the value propositions of the product.
• Promote innovation, collaboration, accountability, continuous learning, and team development.
• A degree in Engineering, Design, Business Management, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered.
• Over 8 years of experience in design-related disciplines.
• Preferred hands-on experience in automation, digital design, or BIM.
• Capability to manage and prioritize several concurrent projects and workstreams while adhering to tight deadlines.
• Extensive skills in project planning and execution.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and skills in relationship building.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge and experience with primary design authoring and supporting software platforms.
• Willingness to embrace innovation and the capacity to leverage evolving technology and AI tools.
