Product Manager, Stocks

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the product strategy, roadmap, and implementation for Ondo’s stocks product.

• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and translate these into straightforward, user-friendly product experiences.

• Oversee products from initial concept through to launch and ongoing iterations, defining specifications, prioritizing features, and making informed trade-offs.

• Create experiences that simplify the complexities of brokerage, trading, settlement, and blockchain infrastructure.

• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to develop high-quality consumer products.

• Work across various functions with legal, compliance, operations, and business teams to facilitate the transition of traditional financial assets onto blockchain.

• Gain insights into market structure, trading processes, liquidity, and the competitive landscape in both traditional finance and crypto.

• Leverage customer feedback, product analytics, and market trends to pinpoint opportunities and guide product decisions.

• Assist in shaping Ondo’s long-term product vision for stocks and other real-world assets on the blockchain.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of product management experience in developing and launching consumer-oriented financial products.

• Robust understanding of capital markets and market structures, including trading, order books, execution, and brokerage processes.

• In-depth knowledge of securities market infrastructure, encompassing clearing and settlement ecosystems and stock trading cycles.

• Strong grasp of the regulatory landscape and compliance frameworks relevant to securities trading.

• Keen consumer product instincts with the ability to convert complex financial concepts and infrastructures into user-friendly experiences.

• Proven experience in a strong product culture, collaborating with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality products.

• Practical experience with crypto and DeFi products; an active user within the ecosystem.

• Excellent analytical skills and sound product judgment.

• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills across various functions.

• A high level of curiosity and the capability to gain expertise in unfamiliar or rapidly evolving fields.

• Nice to have: experience in a brokerage, investing platform, trading application, neobroker, neobank, fintech, or crypto company.

• Nice to have: background in retail investing, equities, brokerage, or trading products.

• Nice to have: professional experience in crypto or digital assets.

• Nice to have: familiarity with RWAs, tokenization, or the integration of traditional financial products onto blockchain.

• Nice to have: knowledge of DeFi market structure, decentralized exchanges, liquidity, and on-chain trading.

• Nice to have: experience that encompasses both traditional financial infrastructure and blockchain systems.
