This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the analysis and evaluation of product enhancement requests while managing the creation of business requirements.
• Act as a primary escalation point for both internal and external stakeholders regarding assigned products and applications.
• Collaborate effectively with Training, Operations, Information Technology, Administration, Finance, and other functional areas to establish product objectives and goals.
• Implement product strategies for assigned products and services in conjunction with Velera departments.
• Identify potential risks during feasibility and development phases, communicate issues to senior product management and leadership, and develop market testing scenarios.
• Create product documentation, procedures, and training resources.
• Report and update performance information related to products and solutions to the strategic product manager.
• Conduct research, analyze necessary modifications and their impacts, and communicate these changes to relevant areas.
• Organize and present seminars and training sessions for personnel, prospective clients, trade associations, current members, and other relevant entities.
• Facilitate meetings, monitor progress, and communicate status updates on development.
• Participate in Velera-sponsored and industry events as required.
• Serve as the main liaison to Operational Support departments.
• Provide support for other products and services as needed.
• Lead or contribute to cross-functional teams focused on developing and implementing new or improved products and services.
• Monitor the effects of mandates and industry product impacts, collaborating with Marketing on communications.
• Direct commercialization responsibilities for maintenance, mandates, industry requirements, or vendor replacement products.
• Manage, lead, and respond to inquiries related to product-focused servicing tickets.
• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field, or a suitable combination of education and experience is required.
• A minimum of four (4) years of experience in product management, technical product implementations, and/or business systems analysis supporting technical products is required.
• Experience in the financial and credit union industry, particularly with core or account processing, is essential.
