📋 Description

• Take ownership of the product strategy and roadmap for Stripe's frontend platform.

• Lead the most significant frontend modernization initiative at Stripe while ensuring architectural integrity.

• Transform frontend development through the use of innovative tooling.

• Establish and monitor metrics such as latency, build times, and reliability SLOs to inform decision-making on trade-offs.

• Represent the product in technical discussions related to API surface design, sequencing of framework deprecations, extraction boundaries, and migration tools.

• Develop Stripe's frontend platform, which encompasses the data layer, navigation, observability, and developer tools utilized by over 50 product teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of product management experience, including at least 2 years in platform, infrastructure, or developer tools teams.

• Strong technical knowledge in frontend web development, particularly with JavaScript and TypeScript, React component models, build systems, and performance enhancement.

• Proven experience in managing large-scale migrations or platform transitions across diverse teams, covering sequencing, dependency management, and stakeholder alignment.

• Demonstrated ability to leverage quantitative metrics to guide platform investment choices.

• A history of collaborating with engineering teams to make architectural decisions that are based on user impact.
