This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take ownership of the product outcomes, discovery insights, and opportunity prioritization within the Onboarding & First Value domain.
• Drive outcome-focused discovery efforts to enhance setup completion, success in the first session, user confidence, and early engagement.
• Establish the first significant value for new users’ CGM experiences.
• Collaborate with teams in Product, Design, Engineering, Medical Affairs, and Research.
• Leverage customer research, analytics, experimentation, and behavioral insights to inform prioritization.
• Design onboarding and educational experiences related to CGM concepts, expectations, objectives, and context.
• Boost user motivation and confidence by clarifying CGM insights and subsequent actions.
• Identify key information to capture early for relevant experiences, guidance, and insights.
• Share responsibility for product risks with teams across Product, Design, Engineering, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Quality, and Human Factors.
• Convert ambiguity into clear problem statements, validated assumptions, and prioritized next steps.
• Establish success metrics and learning agendas for value, confidence, and engagement.
• Minimum of 5 years in product management or a closely related position.
• Generally requires a Bachelor’s degree along with 8–12 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with outcome-driven discovery focused on customer and business results.
• Proven track record in enhancing activation, onboarding, adoption, engagement, retention, or first-value experiences.
• Ability to comprehend customer motivations, objectives, behaviors, obstacles, and confidence gaps.
• Experience in simplifying complex information into clear, confidence-enhancing experiences.
• Background in designing products that foster confidence, habit formation, sustained engagement, or health/behavioral outcomes.
• Capacity to align customer needs, product opportunities, business outcomes, and evidence into a cohesive product strategy.
• Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, medical, clinical, regulatory, legal, commercial, data science, research, quality, and human factors teams.
• Comfortable working in regulated environments that encompass safety, compliance, privacy, and quality.
• Experience applying customer research, analytics, experimentation, behavioral data, and qualitative insights.
• Preferred experience in consumer onboarding, activation funnels, mobile app engagement, first-use, or retention.
• Preferred background in personalized onboarding, goal-setting, education, habit formation, or behavior change.
• Preferred familiarity with digital health, chronic condition management, diabetes, CGM, health coaching, digital therapeutics, or patient-oriented medical device software.
• Preferred knowledge of healthcare, SaMD, HIPAA-compliant platforms, medical device software, or regulated technology.
• Preferred expertise in analytics, A/B testing, funnel analysis, cohort analysis, or behavioral metrics.
• Preferred experience in designing for diverse health literacy, technology confidence, motivation, or support needs.
• Preferred ability to define and measure first meaningful value.
• Preferred systems thinking for scalable onboarding, education, context capture, and personalization patterns.
• Preferred aptitude for communicating with senior leaders, commercial stakeholders, clinicians, regulatory partners, researchers, designers, and technical teams.
• Willingness to travel 5–15%.
