This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Implement the delivery of a specified roadmap for Onboarding initiatives that assist tax clients in providing data and documents to H&R Block, ensuring successful tax engagements.
• Guarantee the effective execution and delivery of assigned features within large-scale products.
• Arrange necessary resources through planning ceremonies.
• Manage the product backlog while overseeing scope, schedule, quality, costs, resources, and risks.
• Create detailed user stories and requirements with acceptance criteria that can be translated into automated tests.
• Facilitate product ceremonies for cross-functional product squads by employing modern SDLC best practices and methodologies.
• Foster an environment of psychological safety to encourage innovation and promote team ownership.
• Coordinate activities and provide regular updates to the product team and leadership.
• Conduct team retrospectives and implement the resulting action items.
• Utilize WalkMe, LaunchDarkly, or Adobe Target to carry out tests and experiments.
• Leverage data to assess and modify strategies based on testing results and measurable outcomes.
• Ensure the quality of features delivered by the trio and meet established OKRs.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams to ensure alignment and integration.
• Cultivate product management skills along with adjacent Agile, Lean, and DevOps functions.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience through a combination of education and work experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in product management or a similar role.
• Knowledge of formal product management methodologies.
• Basic technical understanding to effectively engage with engineering teams.
• Familiarity with technology delivery and software development methodologies, particularly Agile, Lean, and DevOps.
• Proven decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading teams or squads in a matrix management environment.
• Demonstrated ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Capability to communicate with all levels of internal associates, external vendors, and business partners.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team with minimal formal supervision or guidance.
