Product Manager On-Ramp, Swap

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Establish and manage the strategy and roadmap for purchasing and exchanging USDT and XAUT within the Tether Wallet.

• Address fiat on-ramps, card transactions, local payment solutions, and token-to-token exchanges.

• Collaborate with expansion teams to comprehend target-market payment methods, card networks, banking systems, mobile money solutions, regulations, and active providers.

• Assess and choose on-ramp or swap partners based on their coverage, fees, FX spreads, approval and conversion rates, KYC experience, settlement speed, reliability, and compliance.

• Oversee selected partners from evaluation to launch, coordinating with Legal, Compliance, and Business Development teams.

• Convert partner capabilities and APIs into product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Partner with engineering and design teams to create an in-app buying and swapping experience.

• Determine routing logic for partner and payment-method selection based on country, currency, amount, price, and availability.

• Set and monitor buy-and-swap funnel KPIs, which include conversion rates, payment approval rates, KYC drop-off rates, total user costs, and transaction volumes.

• Enhance the user experience, manage partner performance and incidents, and evaluate market-partner compatibility.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of product management experience in the financial sector (banking, payment service providers, FinTech).

• More than 3 years of product management experience in the DeFi or cryptocurrency sector.

• Strong understanding of crypto wallets and DeFi functionalities, including token swaps, DEX aggregators, and on-chain transaction processes.

• Solid knowledge of global payment systems and credit card frameworks, encompassing Visa, Mastercard, authorization, 3-D Secure, and chargebacks.

• Familiarity with local payment methods, such as bank transfers, instant payment systems, and mobile money.

• Practical experience with fiat on-ramp, off-ramp, or swap providers, or integrating third-party payment solutions and gateways into consumer products.

• Demonstrated experience in evaluating, selecting, and onboarding external partners, along with managing partner performance post-launch.

• Working knowledge of KYC/AML regulations and their implications for user onboarding and conversion.

• Ability to interpret partner API documentation, evaluate integration alternatives, and collaborate closely with engineering teams.

• Experience in defining funnel KPIs and utilizing data to enhance conversion rates and inform partner decisions.

• Exceptional English communication skills.

• Capability to work efficiently with partners, expansion teams, and engineers across various time zones in a remote setting.
