This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of assigned lending products and initiatives from initial concept through to implementation and ongoing support.
• Collect, document, and prioritize business requirements for new features, enhancements, and strategic initiatives.
• Spot opportunities for product improvement and innovation through interactions with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Engage in product roadmap planning and prioritization activities.
• Assess customer feedback, market trends, and regulatory changes that could influence product direction.
• Act as a subject matter expert in loan operations, servicing, administration, and compliance.
• Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and financial institutions.
• Convert customer needs and business objectives into functional and technical requirements.
• Define MVPs, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Take part in discussions about APIs, integration planning, and solution design.
• Weigh customer value, business impact, technical complexity, and resource constraints when making prioritization decisions.
• Provide assistance in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate and actively participate in functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Create and maintain test plans, implementation documentation, and training materials.
• Aid in preparation for release readiness and successful product launches.
• Develop release notes, support materials, and customer communication strategies.
• Engage in communication with customers, executives, developers, support teams, and implementation staff.
• Facilitate discussions among both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Provide project updates, identify potential risks, and escalate issues as necessary.
• Foster alignment among multiple teams without direct authority.
• Participate in customer meetings, product demonstrations, training sessions, and industry events.
• Assist with conversion, implementation, and integration efforts associated with lending products.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, along with 2+ years of direct banking or fintech experience; or 6+ years of progressive experience in banking, financial services, or fintech.
• Proven expertise in loan operations, administration, servicing, or compliance.
• Solid banking experience in loan administration, loan operations, servicing, documentation, or compliance.
• Capability to oversee the technical aspects of a product lifecycle from conception to delivery.
• Skill in translating customer needs into actionable technical specifications.
• Familiarity with software development processes, product management methodologies, and MVP concepts.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to cultivate productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• SQL and Power BI proficiency is preferred.
• Experience with API integration is preferred.
• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools is preferred.
• Experience in community banking, core banking, or fintech is preferred.
• Background in supporting commercial, consumer, mortgage, agricultural, or specialty lending products is preferred.
• Experience in gathering business requirements and collaborating directly with software development teams is preferred.
• Experience in loan conversions, integrations, or banking system implementations is preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance considerations affecting lending operations is preferred.
• Candidates must reside and be authorized to work in the United States.
• Occasional travel to company offices, client sites, or events may be required.
