Product Manager – In-Person Giving

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of Events & Commerce within Fundraise Up’s comprehensive In-Person Giving product line.

• Transform customer insights, market data, and business context into a well-defined product thesis and a structured roadmap.

• Select a specific target segment and event scenario.

• Determine which features should be part of the shared In-Person Giving framework versus an Events-specific model.

• Identify what Fundraise Up should develop, integrate, collaborate on, or omit.

• Lead exploratory discussions with nonprofit fundraising teams, event operators, finance teams, volunteers, attendees, donors, design partners, and GTM teams.

• Outline complete event workflows, including purchase, donation, check-in, fulfillment, reconciliation, reporting, and follow-up.

• Confirm decisions through interviews, workflow observations, prototypes, and real product usage.

• Manage product tasks from problem identification through to requirements gathering, delivery, launch, and iteration.

• Draft requirements, acceptance criteria, edge cases, state transitions, and decision records.

• Make scope and trade-off decisions in collaboration with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Research, QA, and GTM partners.

• Design solutions for staff and volunteer operators, self-service workflows, mobile devices, optional hardware, unreliable connectivity, high-volume scenarios, and operational recovery.

• Leverage existing payment systems, campaign, donor, reporting, CRM, and identity frameworks.

• Launch through Early Access Programs with entry criteria, targeted workflows, success metrics, readiness requirements, and areas excluded from scope.

• Measure configuration, workflow execution, purchases, check-ins, donations, confirmations, and receipts.

• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales, CSM, Support, Finance, Legal, and Operations on positioning, enablement, commitments, and launch readiness.

• Link product evidence to activation, adoption, event completion, GPV, expansion, pipeline, retention, and operational costs.

• Utilize AI for research synthesis, workflow analysis, prototyping, specification quality, data exploration, and operational automation.


⛳️ Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in Product Management or Product Ownership within a software product company.

• Comprehensive ownership of a customer-facing product area in collaboration with Engineering and Design.

• Strong analytical skills to distill a large problem space into a focused release while articulating trade-offs.

• Proven experience in converting customer insights and product data into informed decisions.

• Exceptional written communication skills across requirements, edge cases, metrics, and decision records.

• Capability to navigate transactional, multi-actor workflows involving permissions, states, finances, and data relationships.

• High degree of ownership and independence.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.

• Preferred: experience with ticketing, event technology, commerce, POS, payments, marketplaces, registration, auctions, or other transaction-heavy products.

• Preferred: experience with mobile applications, contactless payments, physical devices, or hardware-enabled workflows.

• Preferred: experience in B2B SaaS, fundraising, nonprofits, or operationally complex customer environments.

• Preferred: experience launching a new product area through beta or Early Access Program.

• Preferred: knowledge of CRM integrations, financial reconciliation, reporting, transaction attribution, analytics, or SQL.

• Preferred: practical experience using AI for research, prototyping, analysis, or product operations.

• Fluent in both Russian and English (C1+).
