This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a seasoned individual contributor within a collaborative cross-functional team.
• Assist in defining scope, schedule, and delivery needs under the guidance of leadership.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, product leadership, product owners, and delivery teams to shape product strategy and priorities.
• Implement agile methodologies to support cross-functional workflows and iterative delivery processes.
• Convert organizational objectives, user requirements, and technical aspects into product strategies and priorities.
• Balance tactical program duties with strategic product initiatives.
• Analyze complex issues, pinpoint opportunities, build consensus, and set product direction.
• Manage and uphold prioritized product backlogs.
• Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies.
• Work closely with engineering, design, research, delivery, and other disciplines throughout the product lifecycle.
• Establish product requirements, acceptance criteria, and desired results.
• Convey intricate technical and business concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Create and sustain product briefs, roadmaps, release plans, requirements, decision documentation, and presentations.
• Utilize qualitative and quantitative data to inform priorities, assess outcomes, and identify areas for improvement.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
• Recognize product and delivery risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Develop roadmaps that communicate priorities, outcomes, dependencies, and future directions.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders while facilitating alignment.
• Enhance product management practices, tools, and processes across the program and organization.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Over 5 years of experience in product management, product ownership, digital product delivery, or a related field.
• Background in managing or contributing to digital products throughout their lifecycle.
• Familiarity with working in cross-functional teams including engineering, design, research, delivery, and other areas.
• Proficiency in applying agile product development methodologies and practices.
• Experience in developing, prioritizing, and maintaining product backlogs, roadmaps, requirements, user stories, or similar documents.
• Ability to translate business, stakeholder, and user needs into actionable product requirements and priorities.
• Skilled in facilitating stakeholder discussions and achieving alignment.
• Track record of communicating product strategy, priorities, requirements, risks, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficient in identifying dependencies, risks, and obstacles, and determining effective solutions.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on product objectives and delivery outcomes.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.
• Able to obtain and maintain the necessary government suitability or security clearance.
• Preferred experience in federal government, public sector, highly regulated environments, consulting, professional services, or client-facing delivery contexts.
• Knowledge of human-centered design, user research, service design, product metrics, analytics, APIs, cloud environments, technical architecture, accessibility, security, privacy, and compliance.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Miro, or similar applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
