Product Manager II – Accounting Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of accounting platform integrations for customers and partners, serving as the primary product liaison for the partner implementation team.

• Identify, prioritize, and effectively close integration opportunities in a predictable manner.

• Establish patterns, guardrails, and lifecycle management processes for safe and scalable configuration modifications.

• Facilitate cross-product utilization of accounting platform modules.

• Create and maintain an operating rhythm with the partner implementation team, which includes SLAs, callbacks, escalation procedures, and collaborative workflows.

• Act as the communication bridge between partner implementation, engineering, and product teams.

• Convert requirements between partner groups and internal teams, minimizing execution barriers.

• Define and monitor product health indicators such as time-to-integration, SLA compliance, escalation rates, and adoption metrics.

• Standardize and document operational patterns, configuration playbooks, and procedures.

• Conduct ongoing discovery utilizing usage data, escalations, partner input, and performance trends.

• Manage a comprehensive roadmap from the discovery phase through to delivery and continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably within B2B SaaS, fintech, or contexts related to accounting and finance platforms.

• Strong expertise in operational product management.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and adept at stakeholder management.

• Deep understanding of integration concepts such as flat files, APIs, configurations, object models, and event-driven architectures.

• Capability to translate technical complexities into straightforward operational models.

• Familiarity with accounting ERPs, finance platforms, or the payroll ecosystem is highly advantageous.

• Commitment to documentation, repeatability, and clear accountability.

• Comfortable working in uncertain environments while upholding executional discipline.

• Ability to remain seated for prolonged periods at a desk or workstation.

• Proficient in operating a computer, engaging in video calls, and utilizing standard productivity and communication applications.
