This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Oversee the evaluation process from initial contact through the first credential exchange leading to a production decision.
• Establish and assess evaluation stages, milestones, and performance metrics.
• Define evaluation milestones and metrics for product, engineering, and go-to-market reporting.
• Manage the developer experience across SDK quickstarts, CLI onboarding, console setup, documentation, and template repositories.
• Minimize the time taken for the first credential exchange.
• Advocate for developer ergonomics in discussions regarding API and CLI design.
• Transform field-engineering walkthroughs into self-guided evaluation paths, guides, reference architectures, and in-product assistance.
• Conduct experiments and phase out ineffective ones.
• Integrate feedback from evaluators and enterprise design partners into the product roadmap.
• Work in conjunction with DevRel and marketing to initiate evaluations.
• Collaborate with sales and field engineering to determine when self-guided evaluations need human intervention.
• Observe onboarding sessions, participate in field-engineering walkthroughs, review support threads, and analyze evaluation drop-off rates.
• Assist in developing Keycard’s identity and access infrastructure for agent-native applications.
• Proven experience as a Product Manager on a developer product where evaluation and adoption were critical metrics, such as development tools, infrastructure, API platforms, or security.
• Sufficient technical expertise to engage credibly with engineers.
• Skill in analyzing an SDK quickstart to pinpoint developer drop-off areas.
• Ability to engage in API design discussions.
• Competence in extracting data using SQL or analytics tools.
• Strong judgment regarding developer experience, including CLI usability, error messaging, defaults, and documentation organization.
• Experience with AI tools and a keen interest in the agent ecosystem.
• An instrumentation-first mindset in making product decisions.
• Comfort in working within a category that lacks a defined playbook.
• Excellent writing abilities for documentation, problem statements, and experiment summaries.
• An engineering background prior to product management is a significant advantage for candidates.
• Experience in productizing high-touch processes is a noteworthy advantage for candidates.
• Familiarity with OAuth, OIDC, token exchange, delegation, MCP, or A2A is a strong plus for candidates.
• Experience with product analytics, experimentation frameworks, or lifecycle messaging is a strong plus for candidates.
• Experience in delivering documentation, quickstarts, or templates utilized by developers is a strong advantage for candidates.
