DevOps Engineer, Developer Relations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement new DevOps tools and platforms utilizing infrastructure-as-code and container orchestration for Vultr Docs, Blogs, Discover, and developer portals.

• Manage the complete lifecycle of Developer Relations infrastructure, encompassing containerization, Kubernetes deployments, GitOps workflows, and high-availability configurations on the Vultr cloud.

• Enhance, scale, and automate the current documentation/content platform.

• Establish CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, linting, and validation processes for documentation and code samples.

• Configure monitoring, alerting, and logging for systems geared toward developers.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to incorporate new cloud features into automation examples and tools.

• Provide direct support to thousands of developers in a dynamic, high-impact environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in DevOps is required.

• Proven production experience in DevOps with infrastructure-as-code, containerization, and orchestration.

• Practical skills in building and scaling services within containerized environments (Go/Python/Node.js).

• Expertise in managing Kubernetes clusters and GitOps workflows.

• Comprehensive knowledge of immutable infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and observability.

• Experience in automating documentation pipelines and validating code samples at scale.

• Ability to clearly document complex infrastructure configurations.

• Self-motivated ownership from design through deployment and on-call duties.

• A strong passion for reliable infrastructure that supports the developer community.
