Product Manager – FP&A and Controllership

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Drive the advancement of FP&A and Controllership solutions.

• Outline and update the solutions roadmap, ensuring alignment with the strategic goals of the Finance Directorate and Finance VP.

• Prioritize the backlog with an emphasis on returns, operational efficiency, and scalability improvements in financial closing and planning.

• Establish and track KPIs related to performance, data integrity, user adoption, and satisfaction.

• Act as a subject-matter expert in consolidation, budgeting, and statutory reconciliations.

• Ensure uniform processes across SAP FI, CO, CO-PA, and S/4HANA modules, minimizing unnecessary customizations.

• Analyze systemic and operational challenges comprehensively and address their underlying structural causes.

• Lead discovery, ideation, and journey mapping sessions with key users, finance professionals, and engineering teams.

• Serve as the liaison between the Finance VP, engineering, and partner consultancies, converting needs into epics and user stories.

• Co-lead product support to guarantee stability during statutory and management accounting closing processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Product Manager.

• Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams utilizing Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

• Experience in conducting discovery, prioritization, and developing roadmaps.

• Solid understanding of statutory closing, management accounting, budgeting, and planning processes.

• Practical and technical proficiency with the SAP ecosystem (S/4HANA, ECC, or Retail).

• Extensive expertise in the SAP FI and CO/CO-PA modules.

• Capability to lead challenging discussions, negotiate scope with senior stakeholders, and assert strong technical authority.

• Experience in mapping and integrating financial processes in complex operational environments.

• Familiarity with financial and operational workflows in Manufacturing, Logistics, or Retail sectors.

• Practical knowledge of FI/CO integration with MM, SD, or PP is advantageous.

• Experience in migrating to SAP S/4HANA or implementing cloud-based financial solutions is beneficial.

• Experience with Corporate Performance Management solutions is a plus.

• Knowledge of financial data tools or architectures is advantageous.

• CSPO or PSPO certifications are a plus.
