This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead and enhance the comprehensive AI strategy for the renter’s insurance portfolio.
• Convert the long-term AI strategy into a structured, resourced portfolio of AI initiatives.
• Identify AI applications within the portfolio and assess their impact on unit growth, revenue, attachment, persistency, and loss ratio.
• Communicate the insurance AI strategy, business case, investment framework, risk register, and progress updates to executive leadership and C-suite executives.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Product Managers.
• Establish team OKRs, carry out performance evaluations, and recommend compensation and promotions.
• Create processes for roadmap prioritization, PRD quality assurance, and go-to-market readiness.
• Oversee the collaboration with the Lumina AI Workforce team and ensure roadmap prioritization for insurance initiatives.
• Negotiate shared OKRs with Lumina product partners and address roadmap conflicts.
• Maintain client relationships and analyze behavioral, support, and survey data to uncover customer needs.
• Represent the perspectives of residents and PMC stakeholders during executive and platform discussions.
• Be responsible for enrollment, revenue growth, churn, persistency, premium/policy economics, customer experience, and the P&L justification for AI investments.
• Model unit economics and advocate for the business case to finance and executive leadership.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and product marketing on competitive narratives and battlecards.
• 8+ years of experience in product management.
• 1+ years of direct experience in leading and developing Product Managers or a product team.
• Proven experience in setting and implementing an AI-driven product strategy.
• Ideally, experience in fintech, insurtech, proptech, SaaS, or another regulated or platform-dependent field.
• A track record of owning P&L or being accountable for the business case of a product portfolio.
• Experience in presenting to and influencing senior executives and C-suite members.
• Familiarity with operating within or alongside a regulated business environment.
• Experience collaborating with legal/compliance teams on governance, fairness, and audit requirements for AI systems.
• Strong background in negotiating roadmap priorities and shared commitments with partner platform teams outside direct control.
• Excellent communication skills suitable for executive-level interactions.
• Preferred: in-depth knowledge of insurance, renter’s insurance, or related regulatory frameworks.
• Preferred: experience with embedded or agentic AI platforms.
• Previous experience in hiring, mentoring, and developing product management talent.
