This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and continually enhance Empower’s native digital brokerage experience.
• Take ownership of customer journeys and features related to account details, positions, securities research, trading, and order tracking.
• Discover opportunities to boost brokerage adoption, engagement, and customer value through behavior analysis and feedback.
• Advance brokerage capabilities for direct-to-consumer brokerage and Self-Directed Brokerage Accounts (SDBAs) within employer-sponsored retirement plans.
• Collaborate with design teams to streamline complex financial information and establish clear information architecture, navigation, interaction patterns, and visual presentation.
• Leverage customer research, usability testing, behavioral data, experimentation, competitive analysis, and market insights to recognize needs and opportunities.
• Convert customer, business, and technical requirements into product specifications and priorities.
• Play a role in the development of product strategy and roadmap.
• Integrate brokerage experiences with retirement, investing, financial planning, and other Empower offerings.
• Establish and monitor success metrics encompassing adoption, engagement, usability, satisfaction, and digital behavior.
• Utilize both quantitative and qualitative insights along with agile validation techniques to test hypotheses and guide decisions.
• Steer initiatives through the stages of discovery, requirements gathering, prioritization, development, compliance and legal review, launch, measurement, and post-launch optimization.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Over 3 years of product management or directly related digital product experience collaborating with engineering, design, research, and other cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience in building or supporting consumer-facing digital products, ideally within financial services, fintech, investing, retirement, or another complex digital product landscape.
• Strong product judgment with the ability to transform complex financial information, capabilities, and customer needs into straightforward, intuitive experiences.
• Experience in identifying opportunities to enhance adoption, usage, retention, or other indicators of customer value.
• Familiarity with defining product requirements and working alongside design on customer journeys, interaction design, information architecture, navigation, and information presentation.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience with both quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
• Excellent prioritization and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to navigate dependencies across multiple teams.
• Outstanding communication, storytelling, and organizational skills.
• Capability to independently drive product initiatives, collaborate effectively, and achieve results in a cross-functional setting.
• Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no employment visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT.
• Experience in digital brokerage, investing, trading, or portfolio management is a plus.
• Familiarity with Self-Directed Brokerage Accounts (SDBAs), brokerage infrastructure, clearing or custody providers such as Pershing, regulated financial services, and full product lifecycle management is advantageous.
