Product Manager – Data Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Establish and implement the technical roadmap for the data platform

• Spearhead the creation of cloud-based data environments utilizing Azure, Databricks, and related technologies

• Guarantee the platform's scalability, reliability, security, and operational excellence

• Lead FinOps initiatives, focusing on cloud cost optimization and budgeting processes

• Execute and enhance DevOps/DataOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code standards

• Manage relationships with technology vendors and oversee procurement activities

• Supervise contracts, SLAs, licensing, purchase orders, and invoice validation procedures

• Work closely with stakeholders from Data, AI, Engineering, Finance, and Business

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in managing a data platform or technical product

• Practical experience with Databricks, Azure Data Services, or comparable cloud data ecosystems

• Solid understanding of FinOps and cloud cost optimization techniques

• Experience in DevOps/DataOps practices, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities

• Background in working with technology vendors, contracts, and procurement processes

• Familiarity with budgeting, purchase orders, and financial governance frameworks

• Proficiency in English at C1 level or above

• Knowledge of Data Mesh, Data Governance, or Lakehouse architecture

• Relevant certifications in Azure, FinOps, or Product Management

• Familiarity with tools like Power BI, Tableau, dbt, or Atlan

• Understanding of GDPR, AI Act, and contemporary data governance standards
