Product Manager – Data Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Define and implement the technical roadmap for the data platform.

• Propel the development of cloud-based data environments utilizing Azure, Databricks, and related technologies.

• Ensure the platform's scalability, reliability, security, and operational excellence.

• Lead FinOps initiatives, focusing on cloud cost optimization and budgeting processes.

• Execute and enhance DevOps/DataOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code standards.

• Manage relationships with technology vendors and oversee procurement activities.

• Supervise contracts, SLAs, licensing, purchase orders, and invoice validation processes.

• Collaborate with stakeholders from Data, AI, Engineering, Finance, and Business sectors.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing a data platform or technical product.

• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure Data Services, or comparable cloud data ecosystems.

• Practical knowledge of FinOps and strategies for cloud cost optimization.

• Experience in DevOps/DataOps practices, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management and communication.

• Experience collaborating with technology vendors, as well as in contracts and procurement processes.

• Understanding of budgeting, purchase orders, and financial governance processes.

• Proficiency in English at a C1 level or higher.

• Experience with Data Mesh, Data Governance, or Lakehouse architecture is a plus.

• Certifications in Azure, FinOps, or Product Management are advantageous.

• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, dbt, or Atlan is beneficial.

• Understanding of GDPR, AI Act, and modern data governance standards is a plus.
