Product Manager – Crypto

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the product strategy for Yellow Card's cryptocurrency offerings.

• Develop the strategy and execution plan for the yield product, which includes discovery, provider assessment, integration sequencing, and the launch planned for 2027.

• Assess yield providers based on returns, counterparty and smart contract risks, liquidity, withdrawal terms, regulatory exposure, and alignment with commercial goals.

• Choose one to three yield providers for integration purposes.

• Manage the crypto product roadmap that includes custody and digital asset infrastructure.

• Establish metrics to evaluate the health of the crypto product line, such as yield adoption, actual versus expected returns, and exposure relative to set limits.

• Provide guidance on maintaining product line growth.

• Collaborate with engineering, treasury, risk, compliance, finance, and payments teams on requirements, controls, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.

• Familiarize yourself with existing crypto and stablecoin products, custody setups, clients, and performance metrics.

• Identify quick wins and immediate challenges.

• Formulate a perspective on the yield landscape and create a shortlist of potential providers.

• Present a yield product plan that includes the recommended provider, integration and testing strategy, success metrics, and prioritized crypto roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in product management.

• Ideally, significant experience within a cryptocurrency, stablecoin, or digital asset company.

• Proficient understanding of self-custody, hybrid custody, and institutional custodians, including key market players and their unique attributes.

• Knowledge of crypto and stablecoin yield generation along with associated risks such as counterparty, smart contract, liquidity, and depeg risks.

• Experience in delivering complex financial or blockchain-based products.

• Proven track record in managing third-party integrations from initial discovery to production.

• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities.

• Background in defining outcome-based metrics and converting data into product decisions.

• Ability to work closely with engineering teams.

• Skill in communicating technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in evaluating and onboarding yield, staking, or DeFi providers.

• Familiarity with blockchain networks, wallets, and monitoring on-chain transactions.

• Background in payments, cross-border transactions, or treasury and liquidity management.

• Experience working in emerging markets or within a licensed regulatory framework.
