This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the product roadmap for a specific area within MeridianLink Consumer, overseeing the entire process from discovery to delivery and iteration.
• Lead ongoing discovery efforts through customer interviews, usage analytics, and collaboration with partners from financial institutions.
• Create Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and user stories for engineering teams.
• Facilitate agile delivery ceremonies and manage a prioritized backlog that aligns with team Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
• Establish and track product Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), utilizing data to guide prioritization and showcase business impact.
• Work alongside Product Managers within the Consumer segment to ensure product coherence and make platform-level decisions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, UX, Sales, Customer Success, and Compliance teams to align stakeholders and remove obstacles to delivery.
• Act as the domain's product expert, translating customer needs into actionable requirements.
• Contribute to team strategy as well as the comprehensive Consumer product roadmap.
• Identify opportunities for AI/ML-enhanced decision-making, intelligent automation, and API extensibility.
• Stay informed on trends in consumer lending, fintech competitive dynamics, and pertinent regulatory changes.
• Advocate for thoughtful User Experience (UX) and API-first design patterns.
• A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in product management.
• Demonstrated success in owning a product area from end to end: discovery, definition, delivery, and iteration.
• Experience in managing API-integrated software products involving multiple stakeholder groups.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and contemporary product discovery practices, including Jobs-to-Be-Done and continuous discovery.
• Proficient in using data and product analytics tools to inform decisions and evaluate outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Deep customer empathy coupled with experience in translating user insights into actionable improvements.
• Experience in consumer lending, loan origination systems, or financial institution software is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with API/integration products is a plus.
• Exposure to AI/ML in product contexts is preferred.
• Experience working with or selling to banks, credit unions, or regulated financial institutions is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of TILA, ECOA, fair lending, and CFPB guidelines is preferred.
• Must successfully complete MeridianLink's background check, credit check, and drug test as part of the hiring process.
• Must provide documentation verifying identity and authorization to work in the United States.
