This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Facilitate discovery workshops and requirements sessions.
• Assist in pilot programs and manage escalations through the go-live phase.
• Oversee multiple concurrent institutional projects and technology infrastructures.
• Collaborate with university leadership to identify needs and comprehend systems and data.
• Convert business requirements into precise engineering specifications.
• Work alongside engineering on source-system mapping and data ingestion design.
• Recognize discrepancies between client data expectations and the actual data provided.
• Create PRDs, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria for EDDY agents.
• Make and document decisions that do not alter the scope, cost, or client commitments.
• Partner with client and engineering teams to deliver AI solutions for higher education.
• Remain engaged from the discovery phase through to go-live.
• Provide support to distributed teams and external engineering partners.
• A minimum of 5 years in product management, implementation leadership, or client-facing product delivery.
• At least 3 years of experience working in or for the higher education sector.
• Extensive experience with at least one higher education system of record, such as a CRM, SIS, or LMS.
• Proficient in SQL and data modeling.
• Capability to read schemas, identify problematic joins, and engage in architecture reviews.
• Practical knowledge of LLM-based and agentic systems, including retrieval, evaluation, and common failure modes.
• Ability to lead requirements discussions with campus stakeholders and collaborate directly with engineers to translate findings into actionable specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven track record of producing clear specifications and maintaining alignment among clients and distributed teams.
• Strong judgment and innovative problem-solving abilities when requirements are incomplete.
• Preferred: Additional experience in enrollment management, student retention, or student success.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Databricks, dbt, or a modern lakehouse architecture.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20–30% for discovery workshops and pilot kickoffs.
• Significant availability during Eastern Time business hours.
• Ability to produce clear written documentation.
