This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary point of contact for designated client accounts while providing support to the Client Executive and the wider account team.
• Establish and nurture working relationships with HR teams, benefits administrators, consultants, and various client stakeholders.
• Address client inquiries, direct requests to appropriate internal teams, and ensure resolution is achieved.
• Keep account records, client communications, and action items updated in Salesforce and other internal systems.
• Facilitate client meetings by preparing agendas, tracking action items, and coordinating follow-up activities.
• Manage eligibility updates, benefit modifications, plan configuration requests, and routine account upkeep.
• Collaborate with Operations, Eligibility, Billing, Clinical, and IT teams to fulfill client requests.
• Assist with implementations, renewals, and benefit alterations by monitoring timelines and deliverables.
• Verify information and escalate any discrepancies or issues as necessary.
• Track account performance metrics, pharmacy spending, and utilization trends; provide insights and identify optimization opportunities.
• Prepare and contribute to quarterly business plans, financial performance summaries, and client-facing reporting packages.
• Spot cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies; escalate potential upsell or growth opportunities.
• Address and resolve client issues while clearly communicating status updates to clients.
• Elevate complex or high-impact issues to the Director of Client Management or the Client Executive.
• Engage in regular account team meetings to ensure alignment on client priorities and action items.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.
• Maintain precise documentation of client requests, decisions, and completed tasks.
• Identify opportunities to enhance processes, client experiences, and operational efficiency.
• Take part in training and professional development initiatives.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; relevant professional experience will be taken into account.
• 0-1 year of experience in account management, client success, or client-facing operations within a Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM), health plan, Third-Party Administrator (TPA), or managed-care setting.
• Prior healthcare experience is mandatory.
• Familiarity with pharmacy benefit operations, encompassing claims processing, formulary management, eligibility, network configurations, and benefit plan design.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex pharmacy benefit information into clear, actionable guidance for non-technical audiences.
• Capability to manage multiple accounts and competing priorities with a keen attention to detail and consistent follow-through.
• Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and standard business tools, including Microsoft Office and Teams.
• Experience in a transparent, pass-through, or PBM-optimizer organization.
• Knowledge of Salesforce or similar healthcare CRM platforms.
• Experience in supporting quarterly business reviews and client-facing financial reporting.
• Previous experience in a pod or team-based account model.
