Product Manager – Brokerage

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Define and take ownership of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Alpaca's services related to account opening and identity verification.

• Oversee the lifecycle of various account structures, which include fully disclosed, omnibus, and omnibus with sub-accounting, catering to global B2B clients.

• Create and improve features for entity accounts, sub-accounts, and various account types such as self-directed, robo, and retirement accounts.

• Direct the strategy for KYC and identity verification, encompassing partner-led KYC and solutions integrated with third parties.

• Work in conjunction with legal, compliance, and regional business teams to navigate jurisdictional licensing, data management, and financial prerequisites.

• Write product requirement documents (PRDs) and user stories.

• Collaborate with go-to-market teams to facilitate the adoption of new account features and onboarding processes.

• Establish and evaluate metrics such as onboarding success rates, account funding times, and KYC pass-through rates.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of product management experience, particularly in B2B, fintech, or complex platform products.

• Familiarity with products related to user onboarding, identity verification (KYC/AML), or account management systems.

• A comprehensive understanding of the operational and regulatory complexities within financial services, especially related to client onboarding and account lifecycle management.

• Demonstrated ability to grasp intricate technical and business requirements while effectively collaborating with engineering, legal, and compliance teams.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.

• A data-driven approach with experience in utilizing analytics tools to monitor product performance and make informed decisions.

• A genuine enthusiasm for financial markets and a strong commitment to developing products that empower developers and democratize access to financial services.
