Product Manager – Auth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the product surface area for Supabase Auth, which encompasses authentication, authorization, identity management, social login, passkeys, MFA, enterprise SSO, OAuth 2.1, auth hooks, organizations, and multi-tenant applications.

• Engage with a diverse range of customers, from independent developers and startups to SaaS teams and large enterprises.

• Manage problem statements and the rationale for solutions that guide the Auth roadmap.

• Collaborate with Engineering and Design teams to enhance the developer experience.

• Define the functionalities of Auth for AI agents that facilitate user sign-ups, operate on their behalf, and interact with APIs.

• Analyze data to assess feature usage, user success, user friction, and prioritization.

• Ensure alignment among Engineering, Design, and GTM regarding the product strategy and priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of Product Management experience in developer tools or equivalent experience as a former founder.

• Proven experience in launching standards-based authentication or identity products.

• Familiarity with OAuth/OIDC, SAML, SCIM, sessions, or token design.

• Capable of engaging with corporate buyers and developers effectively.

• Proficient with Postgres and knowledgeable about row-level security.

• Comfortable with asynchronous work and making decisions through written communication.
