This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define, articulate, and implement the ATS-wide strategy, architecture, and roadmap for Process Development and Plasmid Manufacturing Services.
• Convert customer requirements, market opportunities, industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies into scalable service offerings and distinctive value propositions.
• Create and sustain a multi-year business plan, outlining growth priorities, portfolio scenarios, business cases, investment recommendations, and pricing inputs.
• Lead data-driven portfolio decisions throughout the entire service lifecycle, from opportunity identification to development, launch, growth, optimization, and discontinuation.
• Collaborate with Services Sales to establish priority customer segments, applications, and strategic opportunities.
• Engage directly with key customers and industry stakeholders to validate needs, service concepts, value propositions, and portfolio priorities.
• Advocate for the ATS Services portfolio internally and externally as a strategic representative and subject-matter expert.
• Oversee the development and readiness assessments for new or expanded service offerings in conjunction with Product Development and Operational Clusters.
• Direct cross-functional teams from service concept through to launch and commercialization.
• Establish value propositions, differentiators, target positioning, and pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with Central Marketing on launches, positioning, and market activation efforts.
• Provide Operational Clusters with insights on demand, growth, capacity, and business trends.
• Track portfolio and service performance while identifying areas for improvement and corrective actions.
• Develop and monitor key indicators for revenue growth, profitability, pipeline, conversion, utilization, demand, delivery performance, and launch progress.
• Align portfolio priorities and investment recommendations with ATS and Sartorius objectives.
• Encourage collaboration across Services Sales, Product Development, Operational Clusters, Portfolio Analytics, Central Marketing, Finance, and ATS Product Management.
• Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience in life sciences, bioprocessing, advanced therapies, contract services, or a similar industry.
• Significant experience in product management, portfolio management, service strategy, commercial strategy, or a comparable customer-facing role.
• Comprehensive understanding of the advanced therapies market, including customer segments, development and manufacturing workflows, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
• Strong knowledge of Process Development Services, Plasmid Manufacturing Services, or similar bioprocessing and contract-service offerings is highly preferred.
• Proven track record of translating customer needs and market insights into service strategies, offering architectures, value propositions, and commercially viable business models.
• Demonstrated experience in developing business cases, multi-year plans, pricing recommendations, and investment proposals.
• Strong customer orientation and credibility with key customers and senior stakeholders.
