This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Develop features throughout the product lifecycle, from initial concept to release and post-launch adjustments.
• Transform business strategies and player insights into prioritized product roadmaps.
• Establish both short- and long-term product visions while clearly articulating tradeoffs.
• Create PRDs, feature specifications, and briefs.
• Align design, engineering, QA, data, creatives, and business stakeholders around common objectives.
• Guide indirect reports and collaborators towards shared results.
• Facilitate cross-functional decision-making and build consensus based on data and player feedback.
• Communicate progress, potential risks, and necessary pivots to leadership and the team.
• Take ownership of business outcomes related to features.
• Design telemetry schemas, instrumentation plans, event taxonomies, and data contracts.
• Construct and maintain dashboards and reports focusing on retention, engagement, monetization, and feature performance.
• Determine feature success metrics and KPIs while conducting post-mortems.
• Analyze player behavior, funnel breakdowns, growth opportunities, and market trends.
• Convert product inquiries into analytics tasks, formulate hypotheses, and interpret the findings.
• Promote data-informed decision-making.
• Develop the live-operations calendar, which includes seasonal content, in-game events, balance updates, and economic adjustments.
• Oversee live-service health, address issues, and coordinate cross-functional responses.
• Examine live data to pinpoint retention risks and discover engagement opportunities.
• Balance player requirements with the long-term sustainability of the game economy and community.
• Over 7 years of experience in Product Management, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior or lead PM role.
• Experience in launching or managing a live game.
• An active gamer with a passion for online RPG and/or cozy genres.
• Practical experience in designing telemetry systems and defining instrumentation.
• Demonstrated ability to create and manage dashboards.
• Proven success in developing and maintaining product roadmaps in fast-paced, ambiguous settings.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and fostering alignment among design, engineering, creatives, and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficient with SQL and handling raw data.
• Capable of forming hypotheses from unclear signals.
