Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of products and features from their initial discovery and definition stages through to development, launch, and ongoing iteration.

• Convert clinical workflows and user requirements into precise product specifications and priorities.

• Collaborate closely with engineering, clinical, and design teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

• Manage daily execution by overseeing priorities, timelines, dependencies, and any obstacles that arise.

• Assist in defining how AI capabilities can be integrated into patient and provider experiences in a safe and effective manner.

• Conduct user research and leverage product data and feedback to inform decisions and enhancements.

• Establish success metrics and assess product performance and its impact.

• Collaborate with clinical, regulatory, and quality teams to ensure patient safety and adhere to regulatory standards.

• Contribute to shaping product strategy and creating scalable product processes as UpDoc expands.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in product management, specifically in building and launching software products.

• Proven experience in owning 0→1 products from the discovery and definition phases all the way through to launch and iteration.

• Strong project management and execution capabilities, with a track record of managing complex cross-functional initiatives.

• Technical fluency with a history of close collaboration with software engineering teams.

• Experience with AI/ML-enabled products or a comprehensive understanding of contemporary AI product development.

• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and sound product judgment.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage environment with significant responsibilities.

• Experience in early-stage startups, building products and processes from the ground up.

• Desired experience in healthcare, digital health, or other regulated industries.

• Preferred experience in developing AI-native or generative AI products.

• Preferred experience with clinician- or patient-facing products.

• Familiarity with EHRs, FHIR/HL7, or healthcare interoperability is highly valued.

• Experience collaborating with clinical, regulatory, or quality teams is highly preferred.

• Must currently be authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship.
