Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Influence the direction and ongoing development of TwinStream’s products

• Lead and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap

• Convert insights from customers, users, and technical aspects into prioritized product outcomes

• Establish product principles and guidelines to ensure consistent decision-making

• Keep track of market trends, technological advancements, and competitor activities

• Spot opportunities to enhance and differentiate TwinStream’s product offerings

• Gain insights into customers, users, prospects, and operational contexts

• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to uncover fundamental issues

• Recognize common customer demands for reusable core product features

• Assist in commercial and business development efforts with product positioning and roadmap insights

• Maintain a Unique Selling Proposition (USP) in the Cross Domain space and conduct SWOT analysis of the product

• Develop and modify an outcome-driven roadmap that balances commitments, opportunities, security, technical debt, efficiency, and risk

• Prioritize investments and transparently navigate trade-offs between customer-specific deliveries, core product development, platform enhancements, and component evolution

• Make priorities, dependencies, assumptions, and decisions transparent

• Collaborate with Product Oversight, delivery, and engineering teams to clarify issues, outcomes, and product context

• Assist in determining whether requirements will be core capabilities, configurable variations, or customer-specific deliveries

• Shape initiatives, epics, and features without dictating specific technical solutions

• Provide timely product decisions and eliminate delivery uncertainties

• Foster experimentation, iterative delivery, and early validation

• Ensure that completed capabilities meet intended customer and product outcomes

• Safeguard product integrity and coherence across components, customers, and implementations

• Advocate for common patterns, reusable capabilities, and standardized approaches

• Take into account security, maintainability, usability, supportability, observability, and operational costs

• Promote automation, self-service, and repeatable deployment and configuration practices

• Highlight product maintenance, lifecycle management, and technical sustainability in prioritization

• Identify recurring delivery or operational challenges for simplification, standardization, or productization

• Establish trusted relationships across customers, engineering, architecture, delivery, platform engineering, service management, and business development

• Communicate product direction, priorities, and decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Facilitate discussions where customer demand, delivery constraints, and strategic priorities intersect

• Provide leadership with visibility into product progress, risks, opportunities, and decisions

• Create alignment without relying on hierarchy or excessive governance

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be based in the UK

• Eligible for DV clearance

• Must fulfill the UK Government's residency and right-to-work criteria associated with the required level of clearance

• Experience in roles such as Product Manager, Product Owner, or a similar product leadership position

• Proven track record in developing product strategies, roadmaps, and prioritization methods

• Experience managing platform, infrastructure, or technically intricate software products

• Strong grasp of outcome-focused and user-centered product management principles

• Ability to comprehend complex customer and operational challenges

• Experience converting customer-specific requirements into reusable product capabilities

• Knowledge of product lifecycle management, technical debt, and software evergreen practices

• Confidence in collaborating with software engineering, architecture, and delivery teams

• Ability to make balanced decisions amid incomplete evidence or conflicting priorities

• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills

• Experience in translating perspectives between customer, commercial, and technical domains

• Collaborative mindset that empowers teams to make sound decisions

• Ability to clearly and constructively communicate difficult prioritization decisions

• Security screening and clearance are prerequisites for employment

• Experience in enterprise, government, defense, or other highly regulated sectors (preferred)

• Familiarity with the Cross Domain space (preferred)

• Background in the cyber security domain (preferred)

• Understanding of secure software delivery, DevSecOps, cloud platforms, or service operations (preferred)

• Familiarity with product discovery, service design, or user-research methodologies (preferred)

• Experience leveraging evidence, metrics, and feedback to evaluate product performance (preferred)

• Experience working with multiple delivery teams or product components (preferred)
