This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the clinical documentation roadmap and related practice operations workflows, which encompass task management, office processes, document handling, and communication/messaging.
• Grasp the needs of the market, providers, front and back-office personnel, as well as internal stakeholders to successfully implement the product roadmap.
• Articulate and share the strategic vision alongside tactical roadmap specifics both internally and externally.
• Create slide presentations, requirement documents, and customer communications that detail product strategy, features, and upcoming releases.
• Work in collaboration with Engineering, QA, Domain/Specialty Leads, clinical subject matter experts (SMEs), and customers to establish business and clinical requirements.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies, including Program Increment (PI) planning and daily standups.
• Partner with the Release Train Engineer and Engineering leadership to refine and manage release processes.
• Transform requirements into well-defined features and oversee them throughout their lifecycle.
• Identify and document epics related to clinical documentation, task management, document/fax/mail workflows, and communication between staff and patients.
• Collaborate across functions on software release management and the documentation for rollout.
• Manage alpha and beta releases, facilitating provider/staff interactions and gathering feedback during the launch phase.
• Contribute to the overall goals of the company and department.
• Advocate for AI tools throughout the product development lifecycle to enhance velocity and quality.
• Promote a quality culture centered on providers and staff, driving measurable improvements through enhancements and automation.
• A minimum of 5 years of Product Management experience in the healthcare technology sector.
• Proven experience in managing a roadmap and/or developing functional requirements, which includes use cases, user stories, clinical workflows, and practice operations workflows.
• Solid understanding of clinical workflows and EHR/EMR functionalities, particularly in clinical documentation, orders/results, and clinical decision support.
• Strong experience with practice operations features such as task management, document handling, and communication/messaging tools is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of healthcare quality/compliance frameworks, including HEDIS, MIPS/MACRA, ONC certification, and meaningful use is a significant plus.
• Excellent presentation skills tailored for clinicians, office staff, customers, and executives.
• Strong project management abilities, keen attention to detail, effective problem-solving skills, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Confidence in making decisions and advocating for roadmap priorities.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines while being self-directed and well-organized.
• Capability to collaborate, listen actively, and independently lead meetings involving Engineering, Product, UX, clinical SMEs, and customers.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Google Suite is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile/SAFe methodologies is beneficial.
• Practical experience using AI tools in the software development lifecycle, such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot, is a considerable advantage.
• Act as an agent of change and nurture a quality culture focused on providers and staff.
• Proven track record of working with distributed teams across different countries and time zones.
• Some travel may be required, expected to be less than 25%.
