This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Participate in strategic conversations for the product domain, manage the roadmap, and defend as well as reassess product choices.
• Create and sustain a signal system utilizing sales data, customer service insights, product analytics, customer interviews, and industry research.
• Transform market and product signals into concise, actionable recommendations.
• Guide a cross-functional team through the phases of discovery, delivery, and iteration.
• Coordinate efforts among engineering, design, and business stakeholders while ensuring progress is maintained.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations on go-to-market strategies for new features and product releases.
• Develop and manage growth analytics, establish success metrics, assess performance, and drive strategic decisions.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of US mortgage broker workflows, regulations, competitive dynamics, and key stakeholders.
• Disseminate product best practices, experiment with AI-assisted processes, and enhance the PM skill set throughout Lendesk.
• Over 3 years of experience as a software product manager.
• Proven track record of establishing direction in uncertain environments.
• Strong skills in product analytics and instrumentation.
• Capability to analyze product data and make decisions focused on growth.
• Ability to build trust with engineering, executive, sales, and customer teams.
• Clear and direct communication skills.
• Quick and inquisitive learning ability.
• Technical fluency adequate for productive collaboration with engineers and understanding technical limitations.
• Business acumen for assessing opportunities and making tough prioritization choices.
• Capacity to contribute to go-to-market strategy development and execution.
• Must be a current resident of Canada.
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
• Nice to have: experience in fintech, mortgage, real estate, or a related regulated sector.
• Nice to have: familiarity with AI tools in a product or workflow context.
• Nice to have: background in growth or product-led growth strategies.
• Nice to have: business degree (BA or MBA).
