This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the payments product roadmap, encompassing discovery, prioritization, delivery, and iteration.
• Define and document requirements related to payment workflows, failure states, reconciliation, settings, integrations, reporting, error handling, and operational tools.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Design teams to provide dependable and user-friendly payment experiences.
• Work closely with Product, Strategy, CX, Implementation, Support, Finance, Payment Operations, and external partners.
• Lead external partner discovery and clarify vendor documentation, APIs, webhooks, and implementation specifics.
• Oversee the reconciliation strategy across PMS integrations, Funnel data, payment vendor data, payouts, bank activity, customer reporting, and internal controls.
• Utilize data, customer feedback, support trends, and stakeholder insights to prioritize enhancements and monitor product stability.
• Coordinate launches, create release notes, develop training materials, and facilitate internal enablement.
• Track post-launch performance and drive further improvements.
• Assess payment configuration models to promote simplification, standardization, and guardrails.
• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
• Encourage collaboration within the team and across the organization.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned and adjusted at the manager's discretion.
• Travel: Less than 5%.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably with responsibility for payments, billing, fintech, financial operations, integrations, or other high-trust transactional workflows.
• Experience or strong aptitude for comprehending property management ledgers, PMS workflows, accounting concepts, open charges, payment posting, batching, payouts, debits, and reconciliation.
• Strong capability to deconstruct complex systems into precise product requirements and phased delivery plans.
• Comfortable collaborating with technical teams on APIs, integrations, data flows, configuration, and edge cases.
• Outstanding cross-functional communication skills, particularly with Engineering, Design, Operations, Support, and customer-facing teams.
• Strong judgment regarding prioritization, risk, trade-offs, and release readiness.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, ask insightful questions, and introduce structure into complex problem areas.
• Customer-oriented mindset with a solid sense of ownership for the end-to-end experience.
• Attention to detail, especially concerning accuracy, error states, permissions, and operational impact.
• Ability to balance strategic roadmap considerations with hands-on execution.
• Experience utilizing AI within the product management/SDLC lifecycle is advantageous.
• Familiarity with payment compliance, fraud prevention, security considerations, PCI-adjacent workflows, or financial reporting is a plus.
• Experience managing vendor relationships or third-party integration tasks is beneficial.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Notion, Figma, Pendo, Looker, or similar systems is a plus.
