This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Drive the commercial success and global expansion of FORTÉ’s Velocity Solutions.
• Serve as the custodian of the Velocity product catalog and assess its market impact.
• Align publicly available products with customer requirements, sales goals, and performance benchmarks.
• Oversee and manage the Velocity Certification process for customer-specific certifications and the public catalog.
• Ensure each Velocity solution provides measurable value and enhances FORTÉ’s market share in scalable AV solution sales.
• Broaden Velocity’s international presence by tailoring offerings to regional needs and generating demand in new markets.
• Collaborate with Sales to develop the technical vision and strategy for project initiation and solution design through presentations, demonstrations, and business documentation.
• Manage the Velocity product portfolio and its entire lifecycle, encompassing definition, certification, launch, adoption, annual updates, optimization, and retirement.
• Create and maintain a forward-looking roadmap in alignment with customer needs, technological trends, business strategies, regional demands, and sales opportunities.
• Define and monitor KPIs related to adoption, revenue, product mix, profitability, sales activity, and market performance.
• Conduct customer, market, and competitive analyses to identify demand trends, unmet needs, emerging technologies, differentiators, and opportunities for market share.
• Collaborate with Sales on product launches, strategic initiatives, customer discussions, product positioning, training, and sales enablement materials.
• Utilize AV/UC expertise to confirm product selection, compatibility, system functionality, bills of material, installation needs, networking considerations, and readiness for deployment.
• Work with Engineering, Technical Services, manufacturers, and operations teams to test products and technologies, mitigate technical risks, and ensure scalable deployment.
• Lead cross-functional product development and release activities, ensuring alignment on requirements, timelines, testing, documentation, pricing, operational readiness, and go-to-market strategies.
• Act as the primary product liaison across Sales, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Velocity, and manufacturing partners.
• Assist with additional product strategy, technical evaluation, sales enablement, market development, and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, technical product management, AV/UC solution design, sales engineering, or a related technology role, with a proven track record of ownership over products, solutions, or portfolios.
• Strong grasp of product lifecycle management, roadmaps, customer discovery, market analysis, KPI development, adoption, revenue performance, and business-case formulation.
• Working technical knowledge of commercial AV/UC systems, including product selection, interoperability, bills of material, installation requirements, networking basics, commissioning considerations, and scalable system design.
• Excellent analytical and commercial acumen with the capability to assess product mix, pricing, profitability, competitive positioning, customer demand, and sales outcomes.
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, with experience in supporting customer interactions, sales teams, technical stakeholders, manufacturers, and executive leadership.
• AVIXA CTS certification is preferred; certifications such as CTS-D, ANP, Network+ or similar technical credentials are advantageous.
• A Bachelor's degree in business, product management, engineering, technology, or a related field is preferred.
