This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take ownership of new product initiatives from their initial conception to market launch, surpassing customer expectations and fostering business growth.
• Create product plans, specifications, and user stories for features and enhancements.
• Work collaboratively with product leadership and teams to execute the product roadmap.
• Team up with UX designers to provide seamless user experiences.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop usable experiences and effective solutions.
• Represent the voice of the customer, translating customer and business needs into specifications, business rules, flows, and use cases.
• Participate in customer calls to gain insights into needs and pain points.
• Analyze data and customer feedback to pinpoint issues, assess results, and prioritize opportunities.
• Break down user stories, define acceptance criteria, and work iteratively with engineers.
• Optimize the product backlog, anticipate bottlenecks, and align projects with business needs and long-term objectives.
• Assist in product acceptance testing alongside QA, engineers, and customers.
• Drive zero-to-one product launches and assist in the creation of go-to-market materials.
• Educate the organization about the product area and foster internal advocacy.
• B.S. or M.S. in business, accounting, engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field; relevant certifications; or equivalent direct work experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in product management within the SaaS industry.
• Profound knowledge of software development methodologies and the software development life cycle.
• A creative problem-solver with an innovative mindset.
• Adaptable and flexible concerning changing priorities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Keen attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in data-driven decision-making.
• Experience with Agile/lean delivery frameworks.
• A passion for enhancing efficiency and quality metrics.
• Willingness to travel as business needs require, including trips to the Salt Lake City headquarters, customer/prospect visits, and conferences across the US and Canada.
• Experience in delivering software related to the legal industry or depositions is a plus, but not mandatory.
