Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Act as a crucial internal expert on assurance workflows and financial audit methodologies for teams in product, engineering, sales, and partnerships.

• Collaborate with global partners and key clients to gain insights into their workflows, challenges, and expectations.

• Ensure that platform features facilitate compliant solutions.

• Incorporate audit practice insights into product-related decisions.

• Utilize AI tools as part of daily operations.

• Provide expertise on AI-driven product functionalities and establish methodological value for AI-supported audits.

• Keep abreast of AI's influence on audit workflows, regulatory requirements, and the industry as a whole.

• Take ownership of the product roadmap and work alongside other product managers to address key pain points and solutions.

• Define and prioritize requirements informed by customer feedback and market trends.

• Coordinate cross-functional readiness for releases with platform, consulting, support, and partner-facing teams.

• Serve as the main product liaison for global partners, translating their needs into enhancements for the platform.

• Collaborate with Sales, Pre-Sales, Support, and Consulting to integrate customer insights and escalation feedback into the roadmap.

• Effectively communicate product decisions, priorities, and trade-offs to stakeholders across different regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in product management.

• Significant hands-on experience in financial auditing or assurance.

• Knowledge of audit workflows and the ability to engage with auditors on a peer level.

• Capability to convert domain expertise and customer feedback into clear, prioritized product specifications.

• Proficient in collaborating across functions with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams in a global setting.

• A genuine curiosity and openness towards AI technologies.

• Familiarity with audit standards and regulatory frameworks pertinent to financial engagements (e.g., ISA, GAAS, PCAOB) is a plus.

• Experience with Caseware's audit or engagement management software is an advantage.

• Background in platform thinking is beneficial.

• Experience in a global or multi-market product environment is a plus.
